Methodology

How these instruments are built and scored

Cycle Breaker Score™

Thirty statements are rated on a five-point agreement scale across six pillars. The raw maximum is 150. The headline score is round((raw / 150) × 100) and each pillar is round((pillar raw / 25) × 100). Behavior style and strength pattern are forced-choice tallies; ties are reported as Blended rather than resolved arbitrarily.

Culture DNA™

Eight pillars, five statements each, rated on the same five-point scale. Each pillar is normalized with round(((average − 1) / 4) × 100) and the overall score is the rounded average of the eight pillar scores.

  • 80100AnchoredNorms are consistent enough to hold under pressure. Protect and document what works.
  • 6579EmergingHealthy intent is present, but consistency depends on specific people.
  • 5064StrainedPatterns are repeating faster than they are being corrected.
  • 049At RiskThe operating norm is actively costing trust, speed and retention.

Leader–team alignment

Leaders complete the same instrument as a self-view. The gap is the difference between the leader score and the aggregate team score for each pillar. Alignment thresholds (0–7 Aligned, 8–14 Watch, 15+ Significant Blind Spot) are pilot thresholds and require future validation.

Intended use and limits

These ranges are developmental indicators designed to guide facilitated discussion and action. They are not clinical findings or validated employment-selection measures.

Culture DNA™ is an original organizational leadership-development diagnostic. It is not clinical and is not validated for hiring, firing, promotion, discipline, compensation or any other employment decision. It describes patterns in an operating environment — never individual people.
